From April 6 to 9, 2026, representatives from Megawide Construction participated in a technical site visit in Singapore and Malaysia to study Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC), an advanced building methodology that uses fully finished modular units manufactured off-site.
Attendees Paolo Ordinario, Beni Sansait, Joeylyn Mallari, and Masashi Watanabe of Engineering team toured PPVC production facilities, multi-storey precast plants, and active project sites, while also engaging in expert consultations with Teambuild engineers.
The visit provided valuable insights into Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA), logistics planning, crane operations, structural connections, and high-volume modular production. This initiative will help boost our technical capabilities and explore innovative solutions that support faster, safer, and more industrialized construction methodologies.
